A friend of mine shared this recipe of vermicelli and ground
beef with me years ago, I have been making it since. My family loves it, it’s
light, delicious and healthy. Give it a try, i'm sure you will love it.
500g minced beef
150 ml vegetable oil
50g butter for vermicelli
1 large onion, sliced
2 garlic gloves, crushed
1 carrot, cubed
½ cup of cooked green peas
½ cup of sliced parsley
½ tsp. of dry thyme leaves
½ tsp. of dry rosemary leaves
Black pepper, to taste
Salt and bouillon cube to your taste
1 cup of water
Step 1: Put the
vermicelli in a bowl and sprinkle them with water, mix well. Place the in a
steamer and steam for 10 minutes.
Remove, sprinkle again with water and steam for another 5
Then, remove, add butter and salt, separate the vermicelli
gently with a fork, set aside.
Step 2: Heat the oil and add the minced beef, stir fry unit
Add thyme leaves, rosemary leaves, parsley, onions, garlic,
bouillon cube, black pepper and salt to your taste. Stir-fry for few minutes
Add cubed carrots with a cup of water, close and let it cook
for 10 minutes.
Then add the green peas and the steamed vermicelli in the

it cook for 10 minutes.
