Homemade Mango Jam

A very simple and delicious recipe of mango Jam proposed by my good friend Adele.  In mango seasons, I  love to make  this jam and keep it in the fridge and eat it throughout the year.

Ingredients:

·         10 sweet  mangoes

·         1kg sugar

·         1l liter of water

·         2 packets of vanilla sugar

·         1 tsp of cinnamon powder

 Instructions:

Cut the skin of mango, cut into small pieces and crush them in a food processor.

In a saucepan, add water, sugar and the mango puree.  Stir and simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally for 30 minutes.

Then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer until the cooking water evaporates completely (45min).  Then add the vanilla sugar or cinnamon.

Let it cool down completely and put in glass jars and refrigerate for your daily use to breakfast or spread your cakes, pancakes, etc.
