Ginger Juice (Drink)

West African ginger juice called ginger beer (ginger drink) it is a non-alcoholic drink.

It does not only taste very good but it is also very good for health.

 It is known to reduce pain and inflammation, It alleviates heartburn, It prevents and treats colds, reduces hair loss and much more.

 It is widely consumed in Africa and also in Asia. It is made from fresh ginger and pineapple.

  Here is the recipe and no doubt you will love it.

Preparation time: 20 min


  • 4 cups of water
  • 70g to 100g ginger, peeled and washed
  • 300g pineapple, peeled and washed
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • ½ cup of sugar

Preparation of ginger juice

Step 1: Add the ginger, pineapple and lemon juice in a food processor. Then add water and mix well until the liquid is home gene.

You can also use a mortar and pestle  and grind the ginger and pineapple and mix well with the water.

Step 2: Filter the resulting mixture through a sieve to remove the juice.

Step 3: Add sugar to juice and mix.

Add the sugar according to your taste, you can add more or means that my amount recommended.

Keep in the refrigerator for 2 hours through and serve cold with your meal.

Make it a habit to add fresh ginger in your sauces or drinks to enjoy its health benefits.
