Cassava Fritters

Cassava fritters recipe also called Kouti in Guinea.

For 2 people

Ingredients:

  • 1 cassava
  • Pinch of salt
  • Oil for deep frying

Direction:

Step 1: Peel and wash the fresh cassava.

Step 2: Use the grater to grate the whole cassava.

 Next squeeze the grated cassava  to remove the liquid in it.

Then add a pinch of salt and mix well.

Step 3: Form some balls with the grated cassava.

Step 4: Heat the oil on medium heat and fry all the balls of grated cassava.

Don’t heat the oil too high or they will  burn.

Once you are done, serve them immediately with chili sauce or on its own.

Enjoy.
